Audio guide
Our audio guide with six "listening tours" takes adults, adolescents, and children through the permanent exibition of the museum. The audio guide is available in the languages German, English, French, and Korean for a rental fee of €3.50 (per device) at the museum ticket counter.
An audio guide app is also available for download for iOS and Android.

Image, Film and Audio Recordings
Photography for private purposes is permitted in the Gutenberg Museum. Flash photography and the use of tripods, selfie sticks, drones or similar aids are not allowed. Furthermore, photography and filming in the vault is generally not permitted for conservation reasons.
Photography and filming for commercial purposes or as part of daily news coverage requires prior agreement and written permission from the museum management. For this purpose, please download the attached form, fill it out and send it to our Press Office at presse.gmstadt.mainzde.
In the interest of all, we ask you not to disturb or obstruct other visitors when taking photographs and to respect their rights to the image when publishing them.

Travel Directions
Arrival with the Deutsche Bahn
If you are travelling by train, please use the travel information service of Deutsche Bahn.
Public transportation:
Take the buses of the Mainz public transportation system to the stop "Höfchen" or "Fischtor". From the stops it is an approximately 7-minute walk to the museum.
Arrival by car / parking spaces
Parking spaces are available for a fee in the multi-storey car parks "Am Brand" and "Rathaus-Rheingoldhalle".
