How we handle your data
If you order our newsletter, we will collect the following mandatory data from you: surname and your email address; and optionally first name and salutation. This data is only processed for the purpose of sending the newsletter. There is no processing for other purposes and no transfer of the data to third parties.
If you order the newsletter, you consent to the data processing for the above-mentioned purpose. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1a EU GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time without affecting the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation.
The contact details you provide will be stored as long as the newsletter subscription is active. The data will then be deleted. You can cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time. There is a corresponding link in every newsletter for this purpose.
You have the right to information about the data we have stored about you. If the data stored about you should be incorrect, you have a right to correction or deletion. If it cannot be determined immediately whether the data is incorrect or correct, you have the right to have the data blocked until clarification. If your data is incomplete, you have the right to have the data completed.
Last name and first name are saved and only used for the clear assignment of anonymous e-mail addresses. The e-mail addresses for sending the newsletter are saved and only used for sending a newsletter. You can stop receiving the newsletter yourself at any time by using the unsubscribe function at the bottom of each newsletter; your email address will then be automatically deleted. Or you can send us an email to the following address: mainz.onlinestadt.mainzde. In this case, we will delete your email address manually.
