The Gutenberg Library
The Gutenberg Library is one of Germany's largest libraries specialized in the history of books, printing, and script. This includes the entire sector of book sciences and book design, printing and typography, as well as artistic graphic print techniques. The library contains about 98,000 titles from seven centuries and constitutes the heart of the exhibition activities of the Gutenberg Museum. At the same time, it is a reference and research library that can be used free of charge by all interested users.

Using the Library
The library is equipped with a reading hall with 16 work stations, a microfiche reading device, and a copier/book scanner.
